Less Is More

I don't really know what they're called. Those people who introduce the next programme on TV. They're starting to really annoy me. They're using this time - MY TIME - as some sort of acting showcase. Trying to eek out the time they have, for what? For what purpose?

As if Martin Scorsese, on a rare break from filming, is going to be on his holidays in Dumbarton with Mrs Scorsese and the Scorsese clan. He's going to nod off after a post-promenade stroll (after having spent all his pennies on the slots) and just as he starts to drift off he'll hear Sally Jones announcing a Who Wants to be a Millionaire? re-run and think, 'I must have that girl for my next gangster-inspired blockbuster!'?

What's supposed to happen is, "That was The Simpsons, now it's Richard and Judy.." But they've starting saying shit like, "When will Homer ever learn? [Mock Laughter] Next up its Richard and Judy and there's something sizzling in the kitchen. Buckle up!"

No. Not on my time, you cheeky fucking drama school drop-outs.
